We back up.
Less of an offseason than The Tour.
Alright, missed connection. Who was at the NW women’s bball game yesterday? Saw one a you guis in the lobby in the nest gift hat yesterday.
I woulda come up and said hey, but my daughters were waiting in line to get autographs from a team that had just been beaten by 40 (side note; kind of inspiring story to see young kids looking up to a group of women regardless of the fact that they just got their doors blown off. And that the college athletes showed up for the kids regardless of the same)
Wasn’t there - but Women’s Basketball games freaking rock.
The players are super supportive, the fan experience is very friendly and the Big Ten has a whole bunch of really good teams to see.
A great vibe - glad you two had an awesome time!
Bah gawd that’s @JwG3’s music!
(That’s a guess.)
Not me this time! Bad day for any NU fan who was there though…
‘Twas not I but I’ll be there in a few weeks to watch the , which got me thinking:
This may sound like a dumb question but how specifically do the GA seats work? Can anyone describe the best way to get as close as possible as quickly as possible?
I’m planning on lining up sometime that afternoon to try and get our fam some good seats!
Someone who’s gone to the men’s games will have to chime in with the best logistical advice for getting to the good seats quickly. Because typically for the women’s games my family shows up 5 minutes before tip and sit wherever we want. But for that Iowa game, it’s gonna be packed. Probably just get there early and walk fast, like you’re at Disney.
I wonder if someone gave away their Nest gift hat to a Goodwill and some rando bought it and wore it to the game?
Not going to name names, but I’m just curious how plausible it would be that a Nest member would give away logo’d merch like that.
The masters!
Were you not around then?
(I’m sorry, I had to)
I didn’t start playing golf until the 1930’s, missed out
I want sum of dem $4 white knickers!
Folks of the greater Chicagoland area, I come to you a humble outsider…
Respectfully, how far does the CDGA have its head up its own ass? I hear nothing but horror stories from my buddies who work in the business up there, and always struggle when registering golfers from the area into our events.
Do y’all share similar feelings or experiences?
What do you mean by our events?
We just worked with CDGA to create a golf club without land so Second City Golf Club is now a recognized club within the CDGA. We have about 30+ members of the club within the CDGA.
Starting this year at least they are moving to WHS numbers and not a cdga number that was different so that should help for events.
CDGA is the premier handicap system IMO
The app is very much not premier
