Back in my day, we played strait up no handicaps like real men
More of an 18Birdies guy tbh
I’m lucky if I can get 1 birdie.

The only errors are user errors
High Cotton Club
It sounds like they provide less to golf courses/clubs than most “local” organizations, but force the courses into their system.
This seems to have been a huge issue, but they still don’t have it figured out. My guys had to call their local courses multiple times to get their separate numbers sorted, and are still confused as to exactly what is what
Sounds like you should have the CDGA come on the podcast and discuss
That’s Illinois politics for ya
If your guys are registered with the CDGA they should have received an email with their new numbers. There’s also a huge banner at the top of their website on how to get the new number. Home | Chicago District Golf Association | CDGA - Better Through Golf
Folks, got a few spots still open
Date & Time: Sunday, February 18th. 6pm to 9pm.
Venue: The Sim Club South Loop on Michigan Ave. Private simulator club with 5 bays, (3) with GC3 and (2) with Uneekor launch monitors for the lefty’s. GSPro software.
Parking: free on site
Cost: venue to ourselves for 3 hours, depending on how many we get should come out to somewhere between $60 and $80 per player plus food.
Participants: Targeting 16 to 20 guys. There is room for plenty of +1’s or folks who want to join and aren’t golfing.
Format: 2-man no-putt scramble at Riveria with random team assignments. Depending on how many sign up, I could see setting aside (4) bays for the scramble and (1) bay for KTP/side games/heckling.
F&B: BYOB. Pizza from Flo & Santos.
I have run an event at this club before, very comfy with the setup. There’s a sofa and TV, pool table, and plenty or room for +1’s. Weathermark tavern is a good neighborhood bar right next door for any after party.
Ok, ok, good start. Welcome, welcome.
A judge who once told me that whatever comes after this word won’t be respectful.
There it is.
How’s Glenview park golf club
It’s fine. It’s like an almost as good Sunset Valley, MP with boring greens, or Heritage Oaks.
and probably frozen
Front 9 is a tight piece of property. Short 4 to start, and then a steady diet of pretty similar par 4s until par 3 6th and par 5 7th. Back is more fun IMO. It’s fine. And yes, likely currently frozen.
Hey all, just moved back to Chicago from St. Louis so dropping in here / tracking this thread. Hope to see some of you this spring!
Be sure to check the events page. I believe still some room for Mudness!
Also check out the discord thread. Much of the banter has moved there in the last year.
We need like a lower key discord for the elder millennials.
I get lost in there.
I’ll put in a UI update request for an AIM chat room theme.
