For certain. However, being just over 20 mins from RSW I imagine it will have a pretty good pull. Not a ton of places you fly in direct on a major airline and be on the first tee an hour after touch down.
Also ~$500K initiation (not unheard of in Naples but still… that’s steep)
There were a few of those robomowers wandering around I wonder if those get the wolves.
Kinsale, if you want to drop $350k. Cavu (formerly Naples Grande) gives the vibe that they might be open for business. My biggest regret is when we first bought a place in 2020 I email Hideaway… I had no idea it was Larry Bird’s CC, I just knew it had no houses and was a walker’s course. I hemmed and hawed at the $35k initiation fee (35 and under) and ultimately passed. That was a mistake.
Is that actually happening at Corkscrew?
Yessir. Demolition of the current routing is scheduled for May. Gonna turn the place into a high end links-style course with a new clubhouse and all.
Welcome into the Nest.
If you’re interested in #gettinginvolved to play with other FL Refugees there’s some threads you’ll want to check out:
Obligatory DBL DBL was the best! Outside of the gem that is Soule Park snuck up to Pasa (shoutout to the Vibe Bois™ @therealmarkymark @Aham13) and Rustic (@RyMo @Sarah @Rickdiculous) and ended the trip with a great round at Sandpiper (shoutout to the Oceanside crew @MrVinegar206 @Vaughanw22 @MuzzleofBees)
Strong flex…let’s have our opening Roost event at Muirfield.
Can any other Roost top that? Kicks the shit out of our local Chapter’s March 29 at Mt. Brenton Golf Club !
We need a Sandbelt Roost that does an Royal Melbourne West/East day (or maybe the Composite).
How do I join this roost
