Jim’s is certainly the best of those three! For some reason I though they had reopened already. Oh well

Come over to South Jersey and get a better cheesesteak at Donkeys

My personal favorite is Joe’s in Fishtown… but you can’t go wrong with any of the places mentioned here.

Angelo’s in south Philly has been my favorite as of late. But yea, definitely stay away from Pat’s and Geno’s.

Big second for Dalessandros! Depending on your itineraries should you happen to pass through Northern Delaware, the chicken cheesesteak at Claymont Steak Shop is bangin’ as well.

Angelo’s for a cheesesteak and the best pizza in the city

I’m not a roast pork guy, however, am a big fan of John’s Roast Pork’s cheesesteaks. That is my usual first choice although dalessandros is awesome - just much more difficult to get to if your wedding is in Center City

Does anyone know if the Crump Cup will be open to spectators this year, or where I would find that information?

I believe the only way to find out is to call Pine Valley and ask. I’ve heard rumors that they’re no longer allowing spectators on the final Sunday - they started during the pandemic and now it’s permanent.

Hey all , joined a few months back but just saying hi now. I’m in South Jersey (Cherry Hill/Collingswood area) and usually play Pennsauken, Rancocas, and Riverwinds. Also get over to PA occasionally (Wyncote/Jeffersonville).

If anyone ever wants to play a round somewhere then hit me up! I’m probably going out to try and get out somewhere next Monday.

Welcome to the crew man! If you want to get some better visibility for our events and meet-ups, join our league on Unknown Golf here.

Additionally, I’ll add you to the private group on the Refuge so you can view and post in our Electric Phactory threads located under the Community Center header.

I’m in Collingswood so we’ll have to get something planned. Welcome aboard!

Yeah let’s set something up! Where do you typically play at?

Normally played Pennsauken (before I saw they now charge $100 a round) given how close it is. Have some close buddies in Philly/Chadds Ford, so we normally travel around the area to play together. But recently joined Merchantville CC so I’ve been playing early morning 9s there this year.

Yeah I agree that Pennsauken isn’t worth that. I think I was able to walk 18 there for around $45 at twilight which wasn’t a bad deal.

How’s Merchantville? I’ve always been curious about it since it’s so close. Do they have a practice facility/range?

No driving range, but they have a chipping/pitching area (including 2 bunkers), and a putting green. It’s a fun quirky little course. It’s only 9 holes, but 3 of them set up completely differently if you are playing the “front” or the “back.” I’ve enjoyed it so far. Huge advantage is no tee times, so just able to drive over in 10 minutes and get out for a round at 6 a.m. Happy to host anyone who is interested in checking it out, just need to find a time.

If Rt 38 was pedestrian friendly Merchantville would be walking distance from my work. I’d love to get out one afternoon if your schedule allows.

Last call for 2 spots at Turtle Creek tomorrow, 2:48pm. If I don’t see any bites by 2pm or so today I’ll give those spots back to the course.
