It’s a tough scene. I’d be better served heading to Denver, okc or even DFW than most Great Plains events. Something happening in Wichita would be cool for an event this year.
Just moved to the Wichita area. Would be interested in a potential Wichita group. Looking at potential clubs to join now.
@RetiredClubPro is your Wichita guide
Afternoon!
Let’s get some deets on what part of town, what you’re looking for in a course, etc.
Happy to help you navigate Wichita.
Assuming you’re moving into town, gotta work for Koch, Cargill or Spirit/Aerospace?
Look forward to the chat!
I’m in the west. You are right, here with cargill haha. Looking forward to chatting!
What does Cargill have going on in Wichita? If you don’t mind me asking. I’m in the ag industry on the other side of the state.
Cargill “Protein” is headquartered here in Wichita.
Sam Steven’s representing well for the 316
LOST a lot of coin yesterday! But nice to see him making some noise.
I’ve been applying there for months! haha.
What department are you in? We probably have a lot of mutual connections.
Welcome! West has everything you need.
RHCC is your west side country cub…im not the biggest fan of the layout, but it gives you the feel and vibes with membership. I like Reflection, fun track, except for 2 holes, 11/13 on the back. Good group out there that like to play on Fridays.
If you can afford it, WCC is the place to be, but its not cheap and about to do an extensive renovation.
Supply Chain Turkey
I am close to RHCC and have been looking into it. Can’t find much info on reflection
@cperry17 Reflection will be more of a visit. It’s semi-private, so you won’t find much.
The cool part about RHCC is they have a reciprocal with Terradyne, which is my club on the East Side. Can come over and play for like $25, 6-8 times a year. People at RHCC is great.
Honestly, wait till Feb/Mar and play both before you decide. Both are unique, both have some quirk.
Auburn Hills is a good public track on that side of town, too.
Yo! The Supercell major is now live for registration. I put this in the KC Area thread as well but if you guys are looking to get involved, the info is below. Reach out with any questions.
I’m at RHCC and would be happy to have you out and show you around. Just let me know. The reciprocal at Terradyne is 15 rounds per year @ $25 and is a great perk. When I was at Willowbend years ago we had reciprocity with Reflection Ridge, which was just ok. The RH/Terradyne pairing is the best east/west pair by far imo. Depending on where you live I’d go with the closest.
I will take you up on this offer when the weather cooperates. I live in the west.
FYI on this all
Newest fried egg pod is on Buffalo dunes in Garden city. Super neat to listen to a pod that happens to be about your local muni.
