Okay now we’re on the same page. That hole just flat out sucks. 16 on the other hand is a great risk/reward hole though. I’ve seen (and been apart of) a fair share of collapses because of that tee shot.

3 at Lion’s kicks my ass on a very very very regular basis. Should be an easy hole. Never is.
I know the feeling. I haven’t played out there as much as I should, but I always seem to find myself in the indian burial mounds on the left side of the fairway. Also have played out of number 2 fairway when the big left miss kicks in, not ideal.
The left miss on 3 is an auto 5.

I love #8 and #9 though. birdie-birdie front nine finish is always in play and can get you on a hot streak heading to the back.

In Alamo Duel related news, the Mizunos won’t be making the trip because the shafts I got on ebay were fakes and I hate everything. Still waiting to hear about the Miuras but I think they might be coming with.

That hole is so tough. Played it the other day and was dead in the trees. Had to lay up… but came out with a Par. Par is a rare jewel for me on that hole. Course is in good condition!
