Where did you play this week? (Part 2)

What are they gonna do, stab me?!

Also a great grass to hit driver out of the rough with. Smashed one on #18 and it actually hit it TOO good and it rolled off the back of the green and up the hill a bit for an impossible chip coming back.

Just a few more photos from Riv… one of my takeaways from this place is that the bunkers are insanely deep. As always, TV doesn’t do the golf course justice.

Here’s @fishtopher18 hitting it outside of my tee shot on #6:

Beautiful cart paths, @OffTheDole would love it:

Did I have backup pants in the car if the prudes didn’t understand proper length shorts? Sure.

Hope they would have made you change at a gas station.

First and foremost, the course was fantastic, definitely would enjoy playing here every day. Vibe was as unique as it gets for a private club for obvious reasons. All the rumors that I heard were very quickly substantiated when I saw a shirtless group of 6 coming up the 18th.

Only one Bob-O-Link I recognize :triumph:

Was fortunate enough to get invited to Prairie Dunes, and neither “Scottish” weather nor a flat tire was enough to keep me away.
Everything feeds backwards from the greens. I feel like I had seen Maxwell greens before at OCC or Southern Hills, but these were distinct from those. So many humps in the middle, and shoulders on the edges that dictate what you want to do and where you want to be. We didn’t walk, but I could see that being a delightful walk, the green to tee transitions looked so simple and easy.

That is sick. Wow, great shot detailing the contouring there.

I was just blown away by how much there was with the greens. We hit into 4(a press Maxwell hole) and even that one was so different when you got closer

It was a little softer yesterday, but I can only imagine how different those greens must be in drier/firmer weather.

I played on a benign day for a TFE event last year and idk how you would break 100 if the wind was blowing at all. Hitting and holding the greens is a hard task with no wind and soft conditions. Amazing course

My favorite course that I’ve played. That set of greens is so good.

Have you tried not being so big and strong?

Tell me more about your drive on 18. Hitting Driver for your second shot tells me the drive must have been glorious.
