@MerchCzar curious how often you’ve used the GHIN app to do stats thus far? I have one frustration with it and i’m curious if others out there have a standard way of doing this.
tracking for GIR. I’ve hit a bad tee shot. pulled it left into a hazard, taken my drop, and i’m now playing my third into the green. By all objective measures I’ve not hit the green. That doesn’t get the check mark. But for the directional miss, are we marking that as down arrow / short of the green? Or is there more value in trying to measure the success / directionality of what is now my approach shot, even though if it hits the green, it wouldn’t be counted as a GIR? I think its more instructive to know if that shot went long/letft/etc., but it gets muddied when its not technically a regulation approach shot.

@Randy thanks for the shoutout on the running. @MerchCzar I promise you that you can run everyday. It sucks to start, but after a couple weeks it becomes habit like you said and you just do it. Get it done in the morning. Makes the rest of the day better. Having it hanging over your head all day wears on you. @Tron being called “disturbing” by you is one of the great honors of my life! Thank you.

But I’ve never come close to stalling out. So the article is irrelevant.
The multi-year running streak is truly awe inspiring, but the fact that it didn’t end the Sunday after the NIT may be more impressive. A triumph of the human spirit after an electric performance the night before!
