Tourist Sauce: The Carolinas

They seed with a rye grass so that when the Bermuda goes dormant for the winter and is brown the rye grass is green. So, the course stays green. But, it requires some water. Overseeded courses tend to be slow and soft while dormant bermuda courses tend to play firm and fast. Dormant Bermuda is way better to play on. It’s just brown, but who the hell cares.

The place that used to keep the records is under new ownership (see ya Walter) and that’s when the records were changed and Billy’s were stripped.

I’m rewatching all four seasons of Tourist Sauce to prepare for tomorrow. It is crazy how good the editing of season 4 is. The Scotland trip in season 2 has incredible content. I still love every moment of it during the rewatch. It’s the moments where the NLU boys slow down and remark on the unique, almost soul-touching, experiences where you notice the evolution in editing. Elie, North Berwick, the Old Course, and Dornoch are such examples (not to take anything away from the book of yardage). It’s just the little things like the music choice, the B roll/the longer episodes, the cinematography, etc. that make an episode like Carne jaw-dropping.

Essentially saying this over again, but I feel the need to give credit where credit is due.

Agreed, unfortunately the episodes won’t air until a few weeks after my first visit there. That would’ve made my excitement even higher.

For the same reason all other shows are aired at night… lunchtime = people at work (I know that’s a novel idea with refugees but…); primetime = people at home

The nice part about a prime time content drop is I will now make sure to watch all of these episodes on TV as opposed to my phone. Content in all of it’s intended HD glory.

All other YouTube content is premiered at night? The noon drops for all the prior content seemed to work well and gave folks an opportunity to discuss on here which was cool.

The 8 pm EST drop means it’s coming out while the folks on the west coast are driving home and anyone in Europe, etc are asleep.

Either way I’m pumped.

Just like what @tbg9 said. Being able to watch the premiere in full HD on my TV from the comfort of my couch.

Eastern time zone is the only time zone that matters in this world

Boston should have its own timezone because we are so freaking far east

I’d definitely prefer to watch in the next 24 minutes. But obviously they’re trying to draw in an audience wider than @fore20 and I. It is what it is.
