Tourist Sauce S9 - Who will be the golf daddy?

Was just about to post this same thing.

Had me giggling!

Biggest takeaway is that we better see a few Golf Daddy hats in the pro shop

@djpie thinking he was about to get a high five from @Randy is my favorite part of this episode.

Support the small shop! The $30 shipping just means you should order more items

Soly never allowed to say shit about Spieth’s scripting again after pulling up to Australia in this

:person_facepalming:t2: don’t know why I didn’t think about going direct

Def need the gif/meme of this interaction:

Random Aussie: You know about LIV golf?

DJ: I’ve heard of it *slowly eats a poorly made “McFlurry”

RA is the best. Excited to jump into this episode and shed a little more light to what happens behind the scenes and talk about “The Great Flood”

you forgot TC going somewhere and not even playing golf!

Watched half of this on my lunch, loving the bonus nest videos this season!

@djpie Appreciate the Chambers Bay shout out

If Chambers Bay counts, Troon counts too @djpie - the 11th hole at Troon interacts as much with the train as 16 and 17 at Chambers. But I like Chambers more than Troon so your pick is still spot on

Hi folks,

Paddy Neill here - newbie to the Refuge. I’ve been helping out with NLU edits for the last little while, and have been tasked with putting together the NEST Bonus content for TS9. Hope you have enjoyed the first couple of bonus episodes - plenty more great stuff to come!

Looks like your quintessential “the club wouldn’t let me in without a collar so I had to buy one from the pro shop with their logo on it” polo.

That said, I have something very similar in my wardrobe, complete with a course logo.

Higher handicappers miss more greens and have shorter first putts. I think three-putts still favors the better golfer (find a game that doesn’t?!), but it tends to be one of the more balanced games.

You’d think, but that hasn’t held up the times we’ve played it.

Three times at events, all with groups of ≥ 12 players. Handicaps < 5 won all three times, and the top three were ≤ 8 all three times as well. Despite having 10s, teens, and on through the low to mid 20s each time.

Lower handicappers tend to get points on lots of holes. Higher handicappers playing a new course often struggle, it seems. 3 is not the largest sample size.

I think that has to do more with anticap than handicap (what your index would be of your non counting rounds). Lower caps tend to be more consistent, so they are more repeatable.

30+ cap won one of the quota events I played in last year. Same event the year before I think a .5 HDCP won it.
