All budget airlines aren’t alike.
My wife and kids and I flew Scoot from Sydney to Singapore return last year and it was totally fine. It was a budget flight, but comfy and reliable and pleasant.
But Jetstar… I wouldn’t fly Jetstar to the end of my street. Jetstar is fuuuuuuucked.

Work once sent me to a conference in Thailand via Jetstar. Even on the Dreamliner that airline can absolutely get fucked.
(Come to think of it, they also booked me on Malaysian a couple of months after MH370…)

Upside, he’d probably father several children to Australian women who would then be able to play for the International team in the President’s Cup 20-odd years from now. Got to play the long game.
