This video is deeply concerning as @Randy licks the plum almost exactly like he licked the broken off piece of banana in Scotland. Big guy, what is UP with licking fruit? We need a deep dive episode into this troubling habit.
I have been @djpie and @Randy one too many times on a trip. That one very in-shape friend suggests on day one to go for a run and seems like a great idea, until I actually start and now I’m trying not to look dumb and keep up and not die on the side of the road. Very jealous, Aus looks awesome, can’t wait for the rest of the season!
Thought he was John Travolta for a moment.
WAIT
Neil missed the 5th and 6th holes but still claimed to have no 3 putts…
EDIT- please ignore my stupidity
That was for the other round. The round at Bondi wasn’t for the contest.
FUCK…
that’s right…
my bad…
been a morning…
@Tron nothing better than a Presidente after a stupid hot day in the DR
Man @MerchCzar there is NOTHING worse than the flushing feeling that overcomes your body when you realize a vital piece of your gear has gone missing.
Had all four memory cards in a protective sleeve on a trip to the Big House. Got inside the stadium before the game, couldn’t find it anywhere. Gutted my camera bag, lens case, and backpack…couldn’t find it (and had no hope of finding a camera shop nearby in time to get a new one)
Ended up finding it in a side pocket that was supposed to be “the place I knew I wouldn’t forget it” before the game started…but there was a period of time where I seriously thought my trip was f**ked
Seems the crew caught Bondi on a pretty overcast day. Was fortunate to spend an afternoon there a few years back on a “winter” day: 65 and beautifully sunny. Top 3 most striking coastline I’ve ever experienced.
And I believe this is the par 3 on the “adjacent course” (St. Michael’s) that the 3rd hole at NSW plays somewhat over. Took the chance to snag a pic at NSW over the brush.
Just want to say that a lot of YouTube content, and especially YT golf content, is play-it-in-the-background type of stuff.
But Tourist Sauce continues to be appointment viewing.
I am SO excited for the rest of this season
St. Michaels is SO good and, if memory serves, fairly affordable.
Also the hike along Bondi Beach is incredible and everyone visiting Sydney should do it. I really wanted to go to that pool where the waves crash into the pool but didn’t have the opportunity to do so.
When I saw it I immediately was struck by the resemblance to La Jolla cove in San Diego, like 10 min from me.
Sydney and San Diego are definitely cut from the same cloth
PANGAEA!
yeah i know that they weren’t connected then either, but the memes!
Love how Tourist Sauce makes me hate where I live
Thought the same thing and now I’m imagining this park as a short course
Also interesting that NSW has some very rough similarities to Torrey: Old military property, mixed in with a natural reserve now, incredible golf course architecture, etc etc
The land at NSW is way more interesting though, I would think you could better compare it to pebble/those peninsula courses
That short par 5 is just unbelievable. That reveal made me say “Holy shit” when I saw it (Reminds me of 10 on torrey north!!!)
The land is definitely utilized in a more interesting way! But other than that par three from the rocky island (very sick) most of the course is set away from the water with a view of it, also seems like you are above the water vs next to it like Pebble. Kind of a mix of the two regions.
That is a great call, it’s like if 10 at Torrey North had the slope after the hill like 14 does. Just wild! I’d love to play both of those holes downwind vs always into
Really glad @djpie remembered to pack the finger snapping for his short game.
Wouldn’t be a tourist sauce without it.
I am once again asking about the stand bags used. Where any of them the carbon?
