Yeah, I liked it more when each member took an episode/course and said what they liked the most about their (or one of their) favorite courses. Felt like they were talking to us. I mean, I know that Producer Pie is actually who they are conversing with in this case, but using the pod audio felt… disconnected? I don’t know.
Maybe it’s because I had just listened to it, so maybe it will feel a little better in the coming weeks; however, I worry that I think I know the personal connection of each guy to that place as well as with the viewer won’t be the same

Showed my fiancé the trailer before the episode tonight just to double check I was good to watch the episode on the main TV. She remarked that it felt like one of the old UK Top Gear Specials which is a high compliment.

IIRC they did the exact same thing with the Scandinavian and Michigan preview pod audio.
I never finished Scandinavia.
I’m not saying you must finish the whole season, but you must watch the Lofoten episode. The course is cool, the match is fun & the exploration of Soly in it is up there with the Ballad of Randy episode during the Michigan season.

Best part to me is he started to tear his clubs out to look down the bag (DJ was even shining the phone light down the chute), didn’t go all the way, only to come back to find it was exactly where he’d already been looking.
