Moving an object out of the way is courtesy.
I mean, mostly shtick. Soly should have had his ball marked before the putt. It’s courtesy, I guess, because him doing the pickup/put down saved (assuming the putt was from on the green) #Chad (I think?) a two shot penalty if he’d hit Soly’s ball and kept him tracking toward the hole in any case. But y’know, mostly just one of those … where were you and why was your ball not already marked things? Very good chance they were racing daylight and/or Soly had been trying to set up a camera or something. But it still ends up looking like a guy who doesn’t know etiquette. Which isn’t Soly. Which is the joke. Which is why DJ no doubt delighted in putting it in the final cut.
My round meant nothing, and Neil and Tron had a match going. I was filming it, and likely was tripod-ing the camera as Neil was hitting. I barely got to the ball by the time he hit so I picked it up so he didn’t get screwed by me not marking in time.

@djpie or whoever…can you report back on the name of the artist/song of that bagpipe track playing as Icarito is cratering on the back nine at Waterville? Going to need to find it, then build a Spotify playlist around roughly 100 similar songs.

Waterville is a trip from My place but ireland only has max 3.5 hr drives so is totally reachable! Currently on an almighty session for my graduation so will fully answer all questions tomorrow, slán fellas

I drove 3.5 hours to play a 9 holer with Nandy. Some people drove 10+ hours to play a muni for Stella. I think it was @The_Cad_Says who said us Americans have a different perspective on long rides for golf. The fact that you can get to anything in Ireland within 3.5 hours makes me very jealous

I’m driving 90 minutes for a weekday morning 9 holes with @FringeLife and @TheMassHacker next week.
Our regional chapter of R&ACDG has folks spread out over 5-6 hours at least, and we’re probably the most densely packed region.
Another win for Ireland and The UK in general.

To be fair it was Whitinsville which was the best 9-holer nationally before Sweetens was built
