Hi all,
Bit of a Roost update - to my delight I checked the Spreadsheet for the first time in a while and saw that we had 24 names signed up. Reached out to Double Bogey Dave and let him know, he’s keen to help us progress to a 2023 Roost. He will contact PINZ to see if there is a way we can set up virtual competitions around the country and we can work to an annual meet up or something like that.
If we can grow the group some more, we can also set up regional hubs.

Wondering if any Sydney Nesticles have any good club fitting recommendations? Have previously purchased irons through Powergolf but am looking to upgrade the driver in the next couple of months.
Powergolf were fine, but I’m not in a rush and would be happy to try a couple of places, if for no other reason than to geek out on the data
Repping NLU and Leish down at Lost Farm on Friday. What a magical place those two courses are. Played Bougle Run this afternoon too, a fantastically fun addition!

Speaking of the Golfers Journal… has anyone who is a subscriber received #18 yet? Still waiting on it over here in the West, and seeing that #19 is in people’s hands in the States already. Post is a shambles it seems. TGJ has sent out replacement copies in the past, no questions asked, so I might have to go that route again.

Got mine about a month ago, maybe a bit longer?
I did notice that this copy actually came to my letterbox, all my other copies have had to be picked up from the newsagent because Aramex ‘couldn’t deliver.’
Wonder if they’re using different couriers now, because this last copy came with someone else?
Incredibly short notice I know - but anyone around for a Sydney game tomorrow? Otherwise possibly the week before Easter? Visiting family here and trying to squeeze in some golf. Had a lovely round today up at Avondale, which had a few holes closed but still a great day out.

Funny you mention the Journals, as I have just ordered the most recent 3 issues to go on the site as soon as they land.
They are definitely the best golf publication going around, so very keen to get them out to as many people as possible. Also a great gift and the content isn’t time sensitive, so you can pick up any of the issues and enjoy them today.

Agree with most of that. Would be nice to see a little more light shed on some other areas of the world, but I guess that’s more on people to write the stories rather than TGJ. They can only publish what’s submitted.
