This was the same hole at the end of a long June day before COVID, apologies for the iPhones poor sunset capabilities.
Same spot, my mate trying to get out of that front left pot, not a good spot!

You are making me want to visit more.
Played it twice the same day, think i was long with PW in the morning when it was still, and short with 6i into the gale in the afternoon
Played it only once. Punch 4 iron into a strong headwind. Just held the front on the green. A brilliant hole.
Such a fun little hole. Iāve had nearly a whole gamut of emotions the handful of times Iāve played it. Always look forward to it though, thatās for sure.
Speaking of intimidating holes first up. Got a very late call up to play in a Christmas 9 hole comp at WA Golf Club yāday. First hole is a 220m Par 3, with a lake left, and the driving range right.
And the same number of quite deadly snakes.
Ah my last home club in WA. Tough start in a cold winter morning out of the car park. Such a fun course
Flights are booked, arrive 31 January, depart 10 February. Work for sure Sunday afternoon through Tuesday 5-7 February, with some other days that are being added for work functions. Iāll DM you @seskis so we can find a day/time. Thanks!
Anyone get out to the Sandbelt Invitational at all?
Hi Folks,
Iām selling a Seamus Golf Harris Tweed Sunday bag if anyone is interested? Its in great condition, I just never use it. So would like to get it sold to someone thatāll get the use of it.
Shoot me a message if your interested and I can send some photos over.
Story, dog, feet, rug?!
Any aussies out there in the nest?
Welcome! Where are you based?
Hi all
Iām based out of Sydney.
I got sad seeing the NIT events ect are based in US and wasnāt sure if any had been organised in AUS?
Nothing officially NLU-linked that Iām aware of, but a few people have gotten out for some rounds organised through here.
Where do you play your golf?
Welcome dude. There was some (very) loose talk of trying to set up an ANZAC roost, but given the geographical issues we face, seemed a little pie in the sky. I know there are a few members in Sydney, as well as Melbourne and a couple down in Tassie. Iām over in Perth but our thread basically died when the paywall came in. Think I might be the only one left full time.
Get involved in here though, I met up with a few folks in Melbourne in late November and couldnāt have met nicer folks. Possibly looking to line up a Barnbougle trip for late summer next year if that would be up your alley.
With more members all the time and Barnbougle being a pretty perfect spot for a meet up, what is the likely demand for a two night stay in Aug/Sept for everyone? I could definitely check availability around that time and try to make it work for all players? With that lead time we should be able to source some prizes and things to make it even more fun.
@AlexJohnston thoughts?
Iāve got a wedding to go to in Mel in Oct but donāt think I could swing it any earlier. Definitely keen for next yearās Tassie trip, as would the groom-to-be!
