A few motion blur shots from hockey…

One of the more “fun” styles that brings more art into sports - yet one that’s so tough to grab focus on

I LOVE it! That shot is so hard to get, so mad respect!

What camera were you able to bring in? Assuming they have some size limitations on the type of camera based on how they state: “Cameras (still photography/personal use only) are allowed on Practice Round days” Trying to decide what to bring in.

Great photos btw!

When you going?

I love a good motion blur shot but I’m so awful at taking them. Tough to figure out the right shutter speed for the subject that is slow enough to give a good blur effect but also fast enough to keep the subject in focus.

Random shot of mine on film from the hip trying to do it but shutter was too fast so the blur is boring

I had my Nikon 3300. I had a standard lens and a long lens. I fit it all into my drone bag which was fit their bag size limits

Going on Monday this April!

Oh nice, good to know they didn’t say interchangeable lenses was “too-professional”.
I’ve got a Canon 6D but trying to convince a buddy to let me borrow his Leica for the trip for convivence.

Man this is the only downside of getting tickets to the ANWA (or Master’s tourney rounds) and not the practice rounds is no cameras. Fortunate enough to have been on some practice round days to get some old pictures however

Every time I’m shooting and I see a bird, I cannot help but try and take one of these pics.

Yeah the smaller you can get, the better. Mirrorless if you can do it

Roll 1 of 24 in 2024 for my two roll a month goal

Straight off the scanner, no edits. Pushing myself to take good photos and do less touch up

Way more keepers in this roll than any roll I’ve ever shot!! Getting better at exposure

This is likely the best motion blur photo I ever took. I snapped it in San Diego when @PinePocky and I were doing our grand tour of the Chinatowns and Asian American museums of the west coast back in 2018.

Brought the camera out to a nordic skiing event this weekend, found a few good frames.

Gonna be emptying the bag on 2023 shots that were never posted, so there’s more to come, whether you like it or not.
