“I do declare, I have the vapors!”
That is amazing!
Next batch of photos include a super lucky chance to see a grizzly and her cub. I quickly had to get the camera out to photograph it, so these 2 were the best shots I could get
Here’s a little shutter drag from my deck up in Lake Arrowhead on July fourth with the boats going out to watch the fireworks. I went out on the lake soon after to get a better view of the show but didn’t bring the camera as the boat was not steady enough to capture great fireworks shots.
KEEP EM COMIN
Absolutely love this. Great shot.
Quick question here. When y’all fly with your camera do you just put the camera bag in your carry on or what?
Getting a specialized camera backpack to me is the key to doing it imo. Have had a Lowepro one for 10+ years and it can hold a bunch of other stuff too including chargers and your laptop. It’s a bit heavy but it’s peace of mind to not worry about it bouncing around in other bags
So creamy smooth—

I love it!
Just stolen this for my phone wallpaper. Great shot!

Camera backpack or messenger style bag with padding designed for the camera. Often the bags have movable padded pieces so you can customize the layout to fit your lens and body. I carry that on and keep it at my feet.
Backpack ordered! Thanks for the advice y’all!
Next set of photos is from Yellowstone, mostly Lamar Valley is where I got all the wildlife shots. Enjoy!
New to the forums, but excited that one of the first things I see is about photography since that’s my full time job. To the backpack question above, Shimoda makes amazing camera bags with an internal frame, and I’ve taken them on as carry on to 5 different countries so far.
Here’s some work near home (Black Hills of SD)
Was going to post more but it looks like I’m limited to 1 embed as a newbie.
Spectacular.
