Splash of OJ (Florida Roost)

NPBCC is 10 day in advance booking

Palm Beach Par 3 is 7 days, but getting a late round on a weekday shouldn’t be that tough

Osprey point is 7 days, but good luck. I’ve never been able to get a tee time there (granted I’ve only tried a few times)

Sandhill is 5 days, but is usually open

If you’re in the area would highly recommend The Park, but its $$$$ especially for out of state rate and getting a tee time can be pretty tough depending on the time you want to play

All that info is great! Thank you!!

And yeah the park was extremely high on the list at first, but after doing some looking into the pricing I think I’ll have to wait to cross that one off the bucket list.

Stroll down to abacoa town center (3 min walk) and there is a couple of good bars for post golf beers (civil society brewery the best imho)

I just did this trip last weekend - group of 4 from DC. We did The Park on Friday afternoon, Palm Beach Par 3 Sat AM and NPBCC Sat PM, and then hit a Nats spring training game Sunday before flying back. For The Park, need to book exactly at 8AM 10 days out, NPB window opened at 6AM, and PBP3 opens at 12AM midnight 9 days out. We were able to get the times we wanted at each course booking exactly when the windows opened.

If you cant get in at Osprey or NPB, I would recommend checking out Park Ridge, “The Dump”
Played last Saturday and it’s in the best condition I have ever seen it.
Not quite as nice as Osprey, but definitely the 2nd best PBC course in my opinion.

Down in the PCB area for family vacation, need a course rec for this area ish. Willing to drive a little bit if I have to, appreciate any recs!

Camp creek is one of my favorites if you can find a way to get on and sharks tooth is a great track. I really liked Windswept Dunes, more so than the sandestin tracks

I’ll be heading down to the Destin/PCB area next week, really looking forward to Windswept. Thinking of adding Kelly Plantation as a second, maybe one more public if anyone has a rec.

I played both Kelly and Windswept, Windswept absolutely rocks, Kelly was really good also, great conditioning when I played there

Found a few of these here at Grand National

Did Kelly look like they had recently aerated? I’m seeing an aerification alert on their booking site and might skip if that’s the case.

edit: Disregard, I can’t read, hoping this will make me fit in in Florida.

This what the current top 4 looks like to represent our roost at the regional.

If you are in a position to qualify or have qualified and you cannot attend. Please let me know ASAP.

If you aren’t in a position to qualify and would be able to attend please let me know so I can have a pool to pick from in the event I need to fill out the team.

The regional is at Park Mammoth in Kentucky 7/27 & 7/28

This is looking really good for you, @RangerB, and I to just attend as moral support. Maybe we can keep @leftysauce from competing and just all play wolf hammer.

My game is in no condition to represent this roost in any capacity

Sounds like our back 9 at May River all over again.

I’m planning a last minute game tomorrow around 3pm. Staying at Disney resort…is it safer to play one of the Disney tracks or is there a better course out there around 30mins away?
Was thinking of championsgate? Is it worth the drive?

The Disney courses are pretty good, but since Mag is under renovation, I’d stick to Palm or LBV. I’m partial to LBV when choosing between those two.

There are a few courses within 30 minutes. Tranquilo at the Four Seasons right by Fort Wilderness campgrounds is excellent, if you belong to a club and your pro can call for you, you’ll likely get on. Grand Cypress is another close course that’s worth the short drive.

Thanks, I ended up playing the Magnolia as I’m staying across the road from it. I’ve played LBV a few times and felt like trying a new course. Got paired up with 2 older boys who played lightening quick but were good company. I also made a hole in one on the 12th for a bit of Disney magic!
