Generally 18 on varsity and 18 on JV. Often the entire JV team would be out in the outfield Shamwowwing while we hit BP and got ready for the game. Freaking brutal.

The Shamwows did not work. Kinloch was closed on Friday. 
Howevah… @Andrewo lifted me on angel’s wings (offered me a spot with his group at CCV). So I spent the afternoon at the Westhampton course, getting the rules/scoring of Wolf a bit confused.
Get way to spend a day. I really loved the Westhampton (except for 18). Thanks again, Andrew.
Oh, and I am playing Kinloch today.

B) Exceptional customer service is so rare that it when you experience it, it makes you feel like someone much better than you are.
Finally, when you can saddle up your partner and ride him to a net best ball -8, the end of a round feels like floating.
Tonight I will be a better husband to my wife, a better father to my children and I will lay my head on my pillow knowing I have done my best.

Homestead Report:
- Old Course is good, easy course. Greens were punched 3 weeks ago and were in rough shape.
- Cascades was punched on 3 days before we got there so we elected to skip it. We played another 9 on Old Course and watched the Masters.
Good trip, nice resort. Will go again in the summer most likely.

how was the resort? my wife and i are supposed to go next week, but with all the crazy COVID stuff were debating.
It was fine from a COVID perspective. I only saw 2-3 people without masks and it seemed they were being addressed.
Not a lot of outdoor eating opportunities due to the weather, but inside tables were spread out appropriately.
If you had ventured out into the local area it would have felt much much different unfortunately.
When was Cascades punched? I am supposed to play on Friday. Should I bail?

They told us it was punched Monday. When we drove by on the way to homestead, there was more sand visible than grass.
We asked for discounted rate, but were told $150.
I decided that I would be back at some point and elected to skip it.

I’m planning on sticking it out. With nice weather and a reduced rate, it is a no brainer. Let’s be honest too, the greens aren’t the highlight at Cascades anyways, plus it gives me a good idea cause when I go out and shoot a smooth 89 
.
I am a single and have the 12:50 tee time if anyone will be around and wants to join.
I’m about 30-40 mins south and our greens healed in under 2 weeks, Im guessing you wont notice much either way. I’d join you but I have a 2:00 with my wife’s cousin in town to meet our new baby.
