Roll Call: Virginia

Executive Course.

You can walk down DoG St. Anytime? (Because of me the taxpayer!)

Play better the golf team plays there for free…the school should try to get some money now. given the CWF almost killed a student.

Good news! We’re so back!

I’m writing into a contract a lifelong membership to the shoe just in case they accept.

We got into the paid stuff as well

That’s cool. Thought it was all going to be houses. But boo for the Daily De-Press-Ed paywall.

Long and short everything on one side of the road will be par 3S and the other side will be houses.

I’m down in Newport News, what course(s) do you frequent in Williamsburg?

Kiskiack. I still go to the Cardinal course @ NNGC as well.

I grew up in Smithfield, so I use to play more Southside courses (Suffolk, Sleepy Hole, Riverfront, Bide-a-Wee) + The Woodlands

I’m going to Join the Williamsburg Club this month. LMK if you ever want to play.

Hello VA folks! Probably a long shot but I will be road tripping from a wedding in Charlottesville over to the HCC’s Extinction at Park Mammoth in Kentucky. My tentative plan is to leave in the morning on Wednesday 6/5 and stop for a noonish round at the River Course at VT; if we have any friends in the area that can make it work I’d be happy to have some company.

Alternatively, if anyone has any superior golf recs near I-81 anywhere south of Staunton I’m all ears. I just remember wanting to get to the River Course sometime when I still lived up there.

I am in Staunton; River Course is probably best (public) track until you get closer to the TN boarder. country35 lives in that area though.

I live 45 minutes south of The River Course. The River Course or Draper would be the best two options. I keep hearing great things about Holston Hills in Marion but I haven’t played it since the new ownership group completely revamped the place.

Yeah the river course is the best option for the $ IMO, I’d play with ya but I am on for the carolina league pitch clock that night.

Holston Hills is solid! Very hilly, but some fun holes out there. From what I hear, new ownership has turned up the conditioning as well

That’s what I keep hearing. I need to get over there soon and see for myself.

Holston in Marion?
