No legend here. Joel and I just saw each other on Saturday at TGJ event at Belmont. It was a fantastic day. Definitely will go there again. Only 1:45 mins from Arlington.

Yeah, but how long coming back?
Actually faster coming home when I left there at 730 was home by 910pm. It North side of RVA, but yes that stretch of 95 can be very unpredictable.

Anyone interested in playing Royal New Kent this Saturday? In town from D.C., and I booked two spots at 7:50 thinking I could find someone to join (not the case…yet). The other two spots are still available as well.
I’ve played it once previously, but someone with a little course knowledge would be very helpful!

Teed it up at Royal New Kent with @Hovlandia this morning.
At least 5 hole locations were 3 paces from the edge. We stopped counting. I don’t think there were any PGA tour allowable locations today. Course is in great shape.

So now that you’ve been back, how was our assessment the first time? Were the conditions basically the same both times, or did it play different this round?
Greens were in better shape. There was grass on the tee boxes and the fairways were consistently mowed. I felt like the course was in much better shape than when we played earlier this year.
However whoever cut their cups (or maybe they hadn’t been cut in a few days) did a poor job as edges were really fuzzy and laying over in the hole which made the hole smaller. I don’t think we made anything that contacted the lip.
