That’s the best I can do but that commercial was great.

The Duck Club presents The Pond?

The Buck Club presents the Tree Farm (possibly). Unless they are just using that as an unofficial nickname? Either way, expect merch.

I kind of like “The D Club” like that (so, without the “uck”)

Still talking beer? Wellington Brewery in Guelph is next level. Their best bitter is a must with wings. Also love Stone City Ales out of Kingston, and Stonehooker Brewery out of Mississauga. All great. Collective Arts is also amazing.

Rye wise its Wisers 100 percent or CC 100 percent for daily mixing needs. I also enjoy the 40 Creek Copper Pot. Craft wise Lot 40 is doing some good work. Also looking forward to the Spring Mill Distillery releasing its first batch, their gin and vodka are good.

fyi - ask not what your club can do for you, yada yada yada

Wellington is great. When I was coaching football at U of Guelph they used to make a beer for the school called Gryphon Gold. We used to get crates of the stuff at training camp, made for some late nights.

I’ve had…let’s call it a couple of their Upside IPAs in the past few years. Late nights included.

Their Arkell Best Bitter is the pinnacle of sit at a pub and close it down beer. The Fat Duck Pub in Guelph has it on tap. I spend a bit of time there when the world isn’t ending.

Discussing the Fat Duck Pub in the Duck Club thread is true poetry. I’ve been a few times, nice little spot.

LOVE the Fat Duck. Killer scotch eggs, pint of welly and the locals are always watching football or rugby or cricket! Shit, it makes me homesick just thinking about it.

Plus, shoutout @newballcoach for the fun round today! Alas, Craigowan has become a bit of a goat track conditioning-wise, and one of the old guys we were paired with was a grumpy fucker. But still! Lovely afternoon.

Bro you spelled soccer wrong. Great time at Craigowan today, too bad it failed to meet expectations.

‘The Thirsty Duck’ went out of business in my neighbourhood, could possibly bring it back at TDC?20150930-thirstyduck590-09

I’ve been to a killer backwoods bar up in Cheboygan, MI called the Dirty Duck. They had wooden coins that you could buy in bunches. All 1 credit for a beer. No idea why they did that but not complaining.

A bar I frequented in Charleston was called The Silver Dollar and they did the same thing. Buy 5 silver dollars for 25 bucks and those were your beer credits.

Seems like a way to ensure your waitstaff isn’t tipped that much.

Perfect, we will pay them a decent wage to begin with. Tipping sucks anyway

Since I’m supposed to be working and extremely lazy, could I get a quick summary of what the fuck is going on here
