Roll Call: The Duck Club | Canadians, Beer and Cow Pastures

No ice wine fans?

Peller has some excellent ice wines. Gretzky’s has a raspberry one when I visited and it was delightful as well. Those are literally the only ones I’ve been exposed to, though.

When do we pull the rug out from under all the schmucks?

Canada has some great wines, recently enjoyed a bottle of Kitsch Block Party from the Okanagan

Saskatchewan Champagne. Best in a can.

What. The “Do one thing really well”. At least they have started broadening their offerings

This is low-key dynamite. It’s my liquor of choice for hunting / camping - it doesn’t make sense how good it is for the money. Makes me miss living in AB - it is not actually that cheap here…

For about $20, it’s worth having a bottle on hand.

I’m pretty basic. Give me a Crown Royal Rye on ice.

My Dad’s go to since his business days.

That and 7 and 7s were my go to drinks at weddings in my 20s.

I’ve since smartened up.

I try to stick to red wine at weddings now.

Last time I deviated from that, I got into OV and it was a one way ticket to Blackoutville.
