Came here to post this. Just delicious
Blue was the first beer that got me drunk at a house party I was hosting at my parents place at the time. Lead to a nice make out situation with my then girlfriend…good times.
Sadly the first adult beverages I ever over-consumed were Smirnoff Ice’s. A tad shameful. I’ve learned from my mistakes.
I don’t know what this duck madness is about, but I’m in?
Our origin story begins here Roll Call: The Duck Club | Canadians and Beer
Wait, so this is really all I had to do to become a Canadian? Why the hell did nobody tell me?!
Honestly, we’d probably be overrun.
I get the privilege of being Norwegian when I travel, so Canadian might come second to that in most of the places I go. Thanks mom!
I think mine were Mike’s Hard Lemonade. Or, Colt 45. One of those two for sure. So, right there with you.
Also, these thread makes me want to get deep into the Canadian beer scene.
Skyy vodka for this guy, but in possibly the most Canadian thing ever the first beer I ever blacked out on was Labatt 50.
I love a 50. Great deck building beer.
When we can cross borders again, we’ll get you up here and do a proper beer tasting over the course of 72+ holes.
It’s fantastic- in pretty much every city in B.C. you can do a great craft beer tour and check out awesome breweries and fantastic beer
What are your Vancouver favs?
We’re starting to get like this in my part of southern Ontario too.
In our county (130,000 people) we’ve got 6 breweries, 3 wineries, two cideries, and a meadery with 3 more breweries opening soon. I love it.
Oh hell yes
Brassneck and Strange Fellows are my two favourite in Vancouver. Lupulo and 33 Acres strong runners up
Fuggles & Warlock, Four Winds and Steel & Oak in Greater Vancouver area
Fun fact. We almost moved to Vancouver when I was in 5th grade. AT&T offered my Dad a job up there. Parents were up there for a week looking at houses and being wined and dined. Dad accepted. Got home and then AT&T changed their mind and wanted him to stay in the states.
That was quick.
Love it, but hate the new branding. Looks they they are going for some wood fired artisanal pizza look
