Any Canadians want to do something?
I’m game.
Absolutely. These are great!
Yep
I’m part of PNW RACDG but happy to get involved with Canadian chapter too!
So I guess a couple of questions:
- should there be a Canada-wide logo or leave it to each chapter (I know there’s a small Canada West one - I’m on the spreadsheet but I don’t know if it’s active - as well a PNW chapter. Is there an Ontario chapter?)
- If so, it’ll need a design. Anyone have those skills?
If we land on something, I don’t mind coordinating some of the merch.
I think a Canada wide logo (and merch) would be sick even if the events/meetups are mostly regional
There are chapters that include Ontario, but as far as I know they are not active and kind of vague…like GTA is included with upstate NY and a few other US regions. Canada-wide seems like the most straightforward approach.
I think a Canada-wide chapter is the best way to go. I put myself into the Great Lakes chapter on the RACDG thread, but a national one may be the best way to go.
Can someone please use their graphic design skills to add a Mountie hat then print a billion stickers?
I’d go in on a National logo, especially because I’m the only Refugee in NL, and 1 of 4 or 5 on the East Coast? I’ve tried to get some guise to join but I’m not having any luck so far.
I, uh, may be of some assistance here. If someone wants to send me anything that they might want to be on the logo and base images (I’m guessing somehwere in the RACDG thread exists a logo but I’m at work and don’t have the ability to dig too far into that right now) I can start slapping something together.
Yeah I think there were some shared a while ago.

Here’s the link to where this started
Arbys new roast mutton sandwich?
So what do I do, just add my name on the list at the bottom or wedge it in with a chapter?
We may need to kiss @The_Cad_Says’ ring and beg permission.
Permission for what now?
Oh, you want the base logo?
Yeah, I can do that. Someone DM me their email and I’ll fire it over.
Will do - also, we’d like to create a catch-all Canadian chapter.
And maybe provincial chapters for those that don’t have any…especially since we can’t cross the border these days.
