For anyone new, or who missed it the first time around, @TheDuckClub has an annual goals tracker, inspired by the NLU goals pod. Go in an add your own, or check to see if @Freedom35 will hit his ambitious goal of “No club tosses, slams, or verbal outbursts”, or if @duncmitchell will create goals at all! Are vibes a goal? Many are saying “maybe?”
The first sheet is a template you can use to create your own page.
Registration is open for The Migration North in Unknown Golf, and there are only 4 spots left. We would love a full tee sheet for the season opener on April 27!
If you do not have an Unknown Golf account yet, you can join The Duck Club page here - Unknown Golf
Check out the event details in Unknown Golf for registration and payment specifics. Or DM our mighty captain @BigtimePolecat and he’ll get you sorted.
If you’re on the fence and haven’t taken the plunge to join the Duck Club or come out to an event, what are you waiting for? It’s been winter here forever, let’s get out there.
Doing a weekend in PEI this August before Cabot, any food or site recommendations in the smallest Province? We’re staying in Charlottetown (might switch to half CTown half at Brudenell River)
I also played all the Cavendish courses. Non golf would say walk check out a Provincial Parks. The dunes along the beaches are pretty cool. Hope you are driving because it’s nice to drive over the bridge and because you’ll need one to get around PEI.
Hey guys, Im going to be in Montreal in early June would love to get a round in somewhere thats close to downtown. What are some good courses that I should check out?
Hey! I’m from Ottawa but I’ve been living on the south shore of Montreal for about ten years now. I don’t usually love going on the island to play personally for logistical reasons. Thus, my experience is not extensive. However here are some near downtown :
#1 rec would be Club de golf de l’île de Montréal (Ireland course) : fun course with links aesthetic (does not play like a links). There’s a second course there that I have not played (tree-lined, less popular)
Mystic Pines is a well-maintained 9-holer in Khanawake, relatively close to the airport (20min ish)
Parcours du cerf is in Longueuil (south shore), about 20min from Downtown. A muni, so nothing fancy, but there’s some cool holes out there. Very busy, hard to get a tee-time out there!
That’s what I’ve got in/near the city as far as intel, it ain’t much but it’s honest advice lol. I’d have more recs if you’re willing to wander outside the city some more (40min and more). Lmk if needed
