Roll Call: The Duck Club | Canadians, Beer and Cow Pastures

Haha yes, I hope they do. I haven’t heard anything about it yet, but might come together

Got one spot Saturday 1:45 pm at Hidden Lake Old Course if anyone wants to join …

Might be a shot in the dark but was playing Lost Creek near Halifax today and swear I saw someone a fairway over in the Nest toque today. Were any of our Nova Scotia folks out today?

Played Dragons Fire and Shelburne this week.

Dragons Fire is actually good.

I played Shelburne on Friday too with @tniloc. Nothing special but a great course for a spring warm up and I’d love to see it baked out later in the year.

I’ve always been a fan of Dragon’s Fire too.

Agree I played Dragon’s Fire last year and was pleasantly surprised.

Hi everyone, just joined the Refuge and looking to join the Duck Club for some Ontario golf. I am located in St. Catharines, no home course at the moment (currently on the wait list at St. Catharines Golf and Country Club). Looking forward to the golf season!

Welcome! Sorry you didn’t join earlier, you just missed a lovely meetup yesterday in KW at Rockway! I’m in Buffalo but play across the border often. Let me know if you play any of the Niagara courses

Anyone around Sauble Beach next Saturday 6/3 and free to play Cobble Beach at 730?

Havent played Cobble Beach yet. How is it?

While you’re in the area, you should check out Saugeen, right next door in Port Elgin. Way better value than Cobble Beach. Doesn’t have the views, but the course condition is unbelievable and it’s a very fun round. At less than half the price, you won’t be disappointed

Or drive the extra half hour and check out Blackhorse, the premiere course in the area south of Owen Sound.

Great views, as has been mentioned, very solid range and general facilities if you are looking for a nice bite to eat after the road. There’s some cool holes and nice elevation changes. It’s solid. Lora Bay nearer to Collingwood I found to be the better course during a golf trip I had out in the area.
