I don’t think I’ve ever played a course on one of these lists and thought it wasn’t worth it.
That may be since most nice courses in Vancouver are starting to be over $100 per round so Tobiano for 160 is great value and a round at Banff Springs is definitely worth 3x a round at Northview.
I’m definitely slacking. I have 3/10 - the Cape Breton courses - and only 6/100 - all of them being the only Maritimes courses listed.
One of my good buddies used to work at Jasper and now lives near Banff - feels like we’ve discussed playing those two every year since he moved there almost 10 years ago but still haven’t done it. Maybe next year!
“As golf continues to shed its reputation as a sport of exclusion, SCOREGolf has made the decision to disqualify any clubs that are not gender inclusive in their membership policies from eligibility for the Top 100,” said Jordan Bitove, publisher of SCOREGolf and the Toronto Star.
“The game is not yet where it needs to be on this matter, but it is getting there, and we are evolving with it.”
We’re strategising for an interior BC meet-up next summer already - @BigtimePolecat will be out from ON, I’m planning to rip out from Calgary to see him. Would love to entice a few of the Best Coast folks out for a couple days if we can.
I’m very much eyeing Sagebrush, and then probably Tobiano as well. Plus anything else we can jam in, obviously…
Yeah! We got strong reviews from Polecat last year - he can chime in on the highlights, but he was a big fan for sure. The only places I’ve played even vaguely out that way are the Radium courses - I’m excited to start exploring the Kelowna / Kamloops courses soon.
As @duncmitchell said, I played it last year and really enjoyed despite not being able to see anything due to peak wildfire season. Really strong routing with a great finishing stretch
There’s supposed to be a lake and mountain in this picture
