Roll Call: The Duck Club | Canadians, Beer and Cow Pastures

Nice, yea the current pro at wildstone was out with them! If you lads are ever in the area and want to play it again, let me know! Where do you play in Windermere/Invermere, Bunk?

On a different note Re: the Nest pods, if I sign up now, do I have access to previous Nest pods posted prior to me signing up?

Yeah, you’ll have access to all the pods that have been done. There’s a special way to subscribe to the pod using some link. Instructions are somewhere in the Nest threads.

I play most of the courses in rotation - Copperpoint, Eagle Ranch, Radium Springs, Greywolf, Fairmont Riverside. But I do want to venture to Kimberley and Cranbrook more frequently, even with a bit of a drive. Will have to hit you up, next time, and likewise if you’re up the valley during the season. I’m there all long weekends and some stretches in July or August.

Any hope for a new clubhouse at Wildstone on the horizon? That seems to be the only missing piece.

Trailers have a long history in great golf course design.

So do we turn The Duck Club website into a new forum, let it run for a few years and then put it behind a paywall?

Wait…what…there’s a Duck Club website?

Hey all. We started an Ontario refugee what’s app group to coordinate games and generally just shitpost each other in peace (with the looming refuge changes). If you want in send me a dm and I’ll invite you.

Yeah on the day we originally created The Duck Club I thought it would be a good way to spend 25 dollars.

Cool. This place has spawned some amazing things.

Yeah, not sure what exactly is going to come of it now especially with the paywall. I was planning on doing some Merch where all proceeds went to Ducks Unlimited/The First Tee but not sure how many Canadians will be sticking around.

Shit is crazy. Long time reader, short time poster myself. I won’t be sticking around post paywall.

The refuge is entertaining and all but not something I would pay for. The other Nest incentives aren’t a fit for me either.

I wish the boys the best and will continue to enjoy the pods and videos.

I am leaving work for the day. I have a massive issue with being a Detroit Lions fan where I literally skip out on work to watch them be embarrassed.

But there may be brisket for halftime.

Now I want brisket. Anyone know a good spot in Winnipeg…? That delivers to my isolation chamber…

Famous Dave’s has Texas Brisket and can be delivered through Skip the Dishes but depends on where you’re holed up. Delivery is not city wide.

Disclaimer: never tried their brisket so I cannot vouch for it.

Anyone here interested in the Strapped mallet headcover? I bought one but it doesn’t fit the putter I bought it for. It’s the rounded one:

Say $50 Canadian, shipping included?

edit: gone
