Second the Bob Weeks take…never heard him add anything to a conversation and his articles are shite
TSN was doing their road show here on the Island and he showed up at my home Club with a camera guy and tried big timing everyone too…wanted the tee blocked off so he could have some space.
Yeah. TSN doesn’t hire great people.
Does Canadian Twitter know who Corey Connors is?
If you follow Listowel Golf Club (no reason you would) they ride for him so hard it’s awesome. It is his home course, but still cool to see.
Wonder if DV does the same for Mac. Haven’t not heard positive things about him from people there.
I’ve had the pleasure of playing a round with Corey at Listy.
He might as well be the King of England, far as they’re concerned.
I’m super bummed I needed to cancel my tee time tomorrow morning. But it is supposed to be biblical with 100km winds and like 20mm of rain.
The shitty ass reverse Santa Claus parade I had to take the kids to today was not better than 18 holes.
Did you put in the time today to be able to enjoy Masters tomorrow, @anon15484665 style
DJ might be leading, but I definitely won Masters Saturday.
Man. Rickards doesn’t get talked about enough. Absolutely my go to pitcher order when out with friends.
Used to be one of my go to’s, one of the better option of the non-craft variety. Thought I’d drop back in now that the colder weather is coming around
If you’ve ever spent time on Lake Huron, you know the beaches can stretch for miles.
As a shit head teenager, one of our favourite things to do was to walk up and down the beach seeing people we knew and bumming beers off of them.
One year on Canada Day we stumbled upon a group of people we knew, but not particularly well, and snaked a full case of Rickards white out of a cooler from them.
I haven’t been able to drink White since then out of guilt/a raging hangover, but I do love me some red and dark.
I’ve just hit a tough spot. My folks FaceTimed me from the UK with about an hour of golf left. My dad isn’t a golfer, but knows enough to throw it on and call me - we watched the last few holes together which was an utter treat, then we celebrated their impending retirement as well. Amazing couple hours hanging with my mum and dad. Except… I ran out of beer, and wine. And my wife is at work til midnight. And I definitely cannot drive anywhere.
So now I have the tough choice to make - do I walk to the lcbo so I’m ready for the morning? Or commit to 7am bourbon and that’s it? Or am I dense and/or butthurt? Probably an hour+ round trip on foot.
My friend, I think you know the answer.
That said, light up a spliff (if you’re into that) and go for a walk. That sounds delightful right now.
Walk. It’ll build character.
I think that has to be it. I’m sans dogs right now, otherwise it wouldn’t be a question. But a stroll with an accompanying joint might be exactly what I need. Thanks for the push, team!
Could also Skip the Dishes/ Uber Eats if you aren’t as cheap as me
How much extra would an Uber Eats LCBO order run you?
We have a dedicated device here locally for delivering booze that is a flat $10 fee.
