Darren Dutchyshen was charged with assault for sucker punching the groom at a wedding venue in my hometown.
I chirped him about it once at the loose moose in TO and I almost got suckered as well.

He isn’t wrong that it isn’t a top 100 course, but he’s also kind of implying it isn’t worth playing because its not on the top 100, while he shit on our own top 100 rankings this summer

Have heard the same from some people in the industry and that he fancies himself quite a taste-maker with his Assante commercials. Which is hilarious because they’re like 90 seconds long.
I’ve met him once myself and he seemed like a dick.

While we’re at it - the way James Duthie has been pronouncing DeChambeau this week is driving me insane. Same thing for Oosthuizen.
Been fortunate enough to meet all of the HNIC guys (well, the older crew from like 4-5 years ago) and most of the Rogers crew.
Elliott Friedman is as hilarious in person as he is on tv. I’ve never meet a guy more down to just chat and gives zero shits about golf.
Ken Reid is another amazing human. Like actually just a good dude who wants everyone around him to have a great time. Been fortunate enough to meet him and have a drink with him on multiple occasions as he’s from Halifax and his parents still live here.
I tend to forget the d!ck heads because generally they’re exactly who you expect them to be.
Funny that Bob Weeks has been mentioned and the experience was similar to mine.
Also if anyone bad mouths Bob Cole, they’re going to get punched haha.

I think I’ve mentioned on here before that I interned at Rogers for a bit and really didn’t like a lot of the folks I was around there.
Now, the folks that did the CHL on Sportsnet (Sam Cosentino, RJ Broadhead, and Rob Faulds) are all absolutely class acts.
I’ll echo what you said about Elliotte. He’s a beauty.

Canadian Masters re-set (has restarted on TSN1):
Taylor is in at even and about 50/50 to make the cut (T50 before play restarts).
Hadwin (clean-shaven) has about 5 feet for birdie on 14. Currently +2, needs at least two birdies in 4+ holes.
Conners is currently -3, -5 on the day and has an uphill, 14-yard chip for eagle on 8.
Weir is at +1 and is in the fairway on the first, his tenth. Tough draw having to get out early and play 9 and will be a long day should he make the cut.
Could have as few as one or as many as four make the cut.
