Not sure where to post this. I figure this thread is like being in a Canuck nest.
When a thread disappears from the face of the earth, is it:
- Safe to assume it offended the overlords and was obliterated?
Or
- Is it possible the thread received so many posts for such a prolonged period it self combusted from all the hot takes?
Honestly, I’ve been watching/slightly involving myself in this for last hour and it’s been a horrifying train wreck, can’t look away, but it makes you feel bad about it.
I think it’s a reminder that we all just need to follow the TC way, “use your best judgement, and don’t be a scumbag.”

Doesn’t happen often, wasn’t in the thread but looks to me like there were some people going at each other with some personal accusations and the powers that be told them to take it offline and possibly nuke the thread since it involved the NIT. But who knows really
Thanks. Locking a thread to calm the waters or removing some offensive content I get but removing all trace of an entire thread?
Makes me wonder about the content that caused that reaction.

I mean, the voyeur in me regrets stepping away when I was 800 posts in and it was running live.

I don’t want to rehash everything that’s happened in the nest thread tonight, but it was nuked from on high (the big gui) and that doesn’t happen often. And he seems pretty pissed about it. A couple of the more famous fugees are gone (on their own volition, who can say). Not a great day for the refuge.

2020 is crazy man. Masters week in November and I still played golf wearing shorts. Weir under par after round one. Tonight put a TV up in my new garage hitting bay so I can watch the rest of the action
