Again if anyone wants to tee it up on Wednesday the 29th I’m free and looking for a game
Just looked at tee times and only 3 courses have tee times on the earlier side: Patriots Point, Stono Ferry, and Wild Dunes (Harbor or Links)
Of these I have played Wild Dunes Harbor and Stono Ferry
I am leaning towards Stono Ferry but is it worth it for Wild Dunes Links?
I will probably play Patriots Point when I come back down for Easter vacation.
I personally hate the wd harbor course.
My order would be stono, links, Patriots, harbor
Be sure to check aeration schedule when you book.
I like the wd links course, but keep in mind it’s not links at all
Agree. Have played it twice and the second time was in accident thinking I had played Links before. Have a tee time at Stono but not terribly enthused to play.
Anyone want to join me at The Wizard in myrtle beach? I got a 8:28 tee time for Monday the 4th.
I already booked it for just me before I thought about yall here. It looks like the other 3 spots are still open though.
So @BFLOGOLF…how was it?
It was a great few days. Bulls Bay blew me away, it is an incredible course. True Blue was in the best shape I’ve ever seen it and Caledonia was great as always.
The Golf Crusade boys put on a good show.
Just got back from a weekend of True Blue X2, Caledonia X2 and then the dunes in myrtle. Awesome weekend. True blue was super fun, wide open, but I’d say Caledonia was more of our groups favorite. But that was like splitting hairs.
Dunes club was absolutely prime, what a treat. Pretty fun to be right on the Myrtle strip and have such a good course.
Yeah I hear ya. I liked Caledonia more when I first played it but sort of wasn’t as into it this year for some reason. On the other hand True Blue went up a few notches for me this time.
Anyone have any suggestions for @PTM

My man!
Can anyone on here confirm the opening of a Club Champion in Columbia on Forest Drive?
Had a buddy Said he saw them putting a sign up, but I haven’t heard anyone else in town mention it.
Yes. Going into Jackson Square at Percival Rd/ Forest Dr intersection near I77.
Interesting. Columbia is a weird market for them.
@tres_carlos and I discussed in the Whatsapp, but it’s also a weird spot. Nothing has seemed to do very well in that center. It would seem to fit better at Cardinal Crossing or Trenholm, but I guess they are banking on Ft. Jackson traffic and in and out to 77
Yeah it’s almost like they wanted to be centralized for the whole metro area, but by doing so, they’re kind of in No Man’s Land.
Played it this afternoon, and really enjoyed it. Front 9 was super fun with some interesting wide fairways, blind looks off the tee and elevation change. Back 9 felt totally different and a bit tighter. Apparently it was private, then closed for a few years, then purchased by the county. Conditioning is in line with that, but it was in good shape considering. My only real complaint were the par 3s feeling repetitive.
A month out but I’m playing Kiawah on 11/15 and am wanting to try and play the Muni on the 14th. If anyone is going to be around I’d love to have some company. I’ll go online and book the tee time the week before
Not from charleston but am visiting that same week and looking at dates just FYI looks like the muni has a tournament on 13th and 14th
Hi - I live in Boston but my family travels to SC every year for vacation. I am interested in a national membership somewhere in the Charleston area at either CCoC or Yeamans. I know it’s going to be tough…but any advice?
Thanks in advance for anyone willing to help
