Roll Call: South Carolina Golfers

I would play it! Every other option you have worth playing is going private.

Damn. Flying into CHS on the 13th. My son would love to see a pga tour event.

Anyone else play in the pollen storms this weekend? I was losing the ball as it got closer to landing and my range finder just kept telling me 6 yards. Not to mention the gross feeling being covered in pollen.

Not to distract from my previous post, but does anyone have a recommendation for a club fitter in Charleston? Dad is back in the game after about 15 years and his Peerless irons made out of golfsmith aren’t doing him any favors.

I’m too far away to take advantage of this but if anyone close to the low country is looking for a push cart this seems to be a great deal. You could turn around and sell one and make close to your money back

We just did today. I’ve never played in anything like it. Wild.

It was a problem yesterday and moreso today. I feel like I’ve eaten a pound of pine pollen.

This guy is highly recommended, even by folks in Columbia.

Our group had rooster tails of pollen on the greens.

the pollen clouds floating through the air were a sight yesterday. my skin was yellow where the pollen stuck to the sunscreen. also bad day to wear white knit shoes.

I’m blaming the pollen on my atrocious play today.

Played Ft. Jackson and lit it on fire with my best round in memory. Causation? Correlation? Who can really say

I’ll be in kiawah next week and really want to play Charleston Muni. I went on the site and saw that you can book a week in advance. I’m going to try and grab an early time but have a question. What time do the tee times open up on the site? If I want to play next Thursday, do I need to get on the site at midnight tonight?

Times open up at 7 am. Here is some info.
