FL golf course is so good. Everything else is not great.
That would be a cool research on the old CCC. I’d be interested in that.

It used to be on their website—I remember reading it when I looked at area clubs before moving here.
I know Chapin isn’t a true small town, but it’s not that big either. Do you know Ben Dunn? He’s a Chapin guy (family is still there) who does his lawyerin’ in Lex. He was my boss in the Army until he retired a while back.

I liked the post when you made it yesterday, but if we’re taking roll, I’ve wanted to play CC of L and will gladly join a 'Fuge outing

Home course, and I guess I’ve never read the website!
I’d be down to come down from CLT too with a plus one.
I go to USC so pretty much any date should work
I’ll take any opportunity to whip @tigergolftraveler at my old stomping grounds.
I grew up in Irmo.
He ran for state senate right? I don’t know him personally but know who he is.
I’ve only heard whispers of the this place called CC of L, from a guy that supposedly worked there…@LukeBoatright? I’m down to come play as well!
I am interested as well. Would love to watch @LukeBoatright take down @tigergolftraveler since I’ve only beat him like once since high school
you just have to get better…
3-Putt Pars are life. I’d take as many of those as I can get!

Welcome and Go Tigers ('07)
It’s funny this is all coming up here because I spent some time this week trying to find the original land.
My understanding is that the origins of the course started at what was called Camp Fornance in Eau Claire area as mentioned with the original clubhouse near what is now Monticello Rd. Later changes and expansions took the layout generally the South and West towards Main and the Earlewood Neighborhood to become more accessible to the street car networks.
I have been looking at old aerial photography (latest is 1959) and researching old deeds to try and pinpoint some of the original area.
yep he ran against Harpo for his senate seat last year. Lost 53-46 but given the gerrymandering in that district he didn’t do too bad.
