Great condition. Some debris from all these storms, but nothing major.
Appreciate that! Brothers and Dad really looking forward to it, was hoping I hadn’t over hyped it.
It’s definitely a fun track, a puzzle to figure out. Play one tee up and don’t be a hero. Course is a lot of fun.
Well…let’s just say it’s been a minute. I have some catching up to do. Glad to see The Rail coming back again and I need to learn about this Roost thing I suppose too.
Have a 7:55 tee time @ Furman golf club for Saturday morning. Still all 3 other spots open if anyone wants to join. Call or grab them online.
I cant this weekend but would love to sneak up there this fall and play it!
Non-golf question for you all -
Heading down to Hilton Head for a week with my parents, brother and girlfriend the second week of August (golf will be played).
Planning on proposing to my girlfriend while we are there. Any suggestions on spots to pop the question? Have looked into what beaches or other spots that would be good myself, but wanted to ask in here too. We have a house for the week in Palmetto Dunes if that helps any.
Appreciate any insight!
The algorithm knows.

If you want to stay on HHI behind the 18th green at Harbour Town would be a good spot. They have a walking/bike path that leads right up to it.
If you don’t mind making the short drive over to Bluffton I’d recommend Old Town, specifically in the park area outside of the Church of the Cross.
Love this!
Some great restaurants down that way as well to go out to after
Very solid recommendation. Palmetto Bluff has a very cool little chapel that is a nice spot too.
Palmetto Bluff in Bluffton! Its a big gated community with a very scenic town on the water and has a park area, a dock, an old rustic looking church, etc… (I’d classify the aesthetic as ‘rustic lowcountry’). Its got a restaurant and some shops that would be a great excuse for dressing smart without making it too obvious that something is up. Good luck and congrats (unless she says no…)
Source: I am probably going to use this spot when the time comes.
New guy checking in - I’ve been in Greenville for ten years. Playing off a 15, but currently in the “summer of the process” with far more range time and lessons to get that number down.
I’ve been a member at [Carolina Golf at] Botany Woods since my son was born. Much easier to get out for nine holes at a Par 3 course these days, but still work in the full round occasionally.
Playing River Falls tomorrow morning. Stoked!
Welcome man. Have a strong upstate contingent here that plays regularly. @tigergolftraveler @FUwolfpacker @rramsbo @FireMarkFox @dclthomas and others should be able to help you out if you’re looking for more folks to play with
