Roll call: Phoenix/Scottsdale

Hi AZ folks. Love you all. North Star United gui here, but Arizona has a warm place in my heart (lived there for a few years, was a member at Mesa CC for a minute).

My dad and I have never missed watching the Ryder Cup together, and this year we planned a trip to Phoenix to watch the cup in the morning and golf in the afternoon.

I played a fantastic round with @Jpop942 at the Ope-in this year, and I’m just putting it out there for him and anyone else if they would like to play with my dad and I after noon on 9/30. Any course within 30min of central Phoenix works. Dad is Irish and will endlessly shit talk you

No longer a resident but grew up and learned to play in AZ. Encanto was our home course in highschool, neat seeing how many of you play that boring old track too lol. Will keep an eye on this for any future trips back home!

I’m taking a few days off work next week and looking to get some golf in on either Monday or Wednesday.

Slim pickings on what’s open and/or not a day or two open after overseeding.

Anyone interested in a mid morning round at 500 Club, or get weird and do an US Am style 36 hole match at the 9 hole Futures Course?

Greetings from Canada! :canada:

My best buddy lives out in Chandler, going to visit him late november at the end of a Utah National parks trip with my gf. Not gonna bring my clubs, but we’ll be playing a game together.

1- Course recs in the say 100$ ish budget (looking for a nice course but not breaking the bank range). We played Ak-Chin Southern Dunes last time, that place is nice👌

2- Anybody got a spare set I could borrow for a round? I can also rent no problem, just putting a feeler out there (RH, stiff, I game ZX7s)

Thanks!

Is anyone familiar with which courses in the Tucson area employ caddies?

I’m relocating to Tucson for the winter and want to pick up some work looping

Thanks in advance!

I know Tucson Country Club does. Other than that I think maybe the private courses on the NW side (Omni Tucson National, The Gallery, Dove Mountain, Stone Canyon) would be your best bet!

Will be back in town for my brothers wedding thanksgiving weekend (hell of a choice of date for all of us traveling…) will more than likely try and play at least one round. Will check in a little closer to then and see if anyone is interested in getting together.

Would rather meet some new guys on here rather than a set of true rando’s. Thinking something simple like Aguila, Papago, GCU or even good old Encanto but wouldn’t mind getting out somewhere nicer either.

What’s the word on the street with the biltmore Estates course? Taking times now on it. Used to play the links course a bit but can’t say I remember the adobe at all and think the remodel sounds appealing….
