Definitely has the 90’s “country club” feel. I like 17 & 18 and how the closer on each nine are kind of mirrors of each other.

I’m heading out to Tempe to visit my son and play some golf the 22-25th.
Planning on catching @LPondgolf Thursday or Friday once her tee times get announced on Tuesday. My son is not a big golfer so probably just playing one round with him Wednesday afternoon, catching a Cactus League game and some poker at one of the casinos.

I will hop on tonight at midnight and see what is available for the 25th for the city courses. If we are all gonna look at different ones, I will try aguila and/or encanto first.

I would typically volunteer to be an alarm setter, but my kid has woken up at 1am the last two nights and was a pain in the ass trying to go back to sleep, and I think my wife might kill me if I wake her up with my tee time alarm tonight.

As someone with 2 kids, I’ve been there. Get some rest, don’t worry about waking up at midnight. We’ll find something I’m sure.
Well, its 12:03 am, I fought the midnight fight. Encanto didn’t have any times, I dont know if they have an event going or what, but no times ever showed up that day. I got the earliest 4 some i could at Aguila which was 2:08. So if anybody wants to join me for an afternoon stroll around Aguila on the 25th, they are more than welcome. 1 spot available to join @Jpop942, @GeneralTSo, and myself. Unsure if anyone else secured any other times, but happy to change plans if others did get a more preferable time at Aguila or somewhere else.

Thanks for fighting that fight. Unfortunately, I can’t make the afternoon time work. Like I said earlier this week, I have a foursome at 7:22am that Saturday for Hillcrest Golf Course if anyone else wants to make the trek up to the NW. Reading reviews, it sounds like course conditions probably aren’t amazing, but it’s a walkable course on a Saturday morning for under $80 haha.

I did a quick search on here and saw an outing from last year, but what is the general consensus for Rolling Hills? My wife and I and another couple are coming out in a few weeks and want a cheap round as his wife doesn’t play often but will tee it up for a round every once in a while. We already have a pretty stacked list for the trip, so don’t need another big name course but also don’t want a goat track.

It’s solid for an executive course. I haven’t played it since our event but it was in great shape then, for what it is worth.
