Hey y’all, I have to withdraw myself from the quota game this summer.
I am working this weekend and then I am having surgery next week and will be out of golf for a little bit and won’t be able to get out to GCU before June.
Hope it is a great event!

Anyone know of a place here in the Valley that sells used single irons?
Looking for a Srixon 4 iron, can be a Z-Forged, 945, 965 or Pro 100.
You could also try Arizona Golf Works, they are a small local shop. It would be somewhat of a long shot but I always check with them first if I need anything.

Excited to see what y’all think about GCU this weekend. Wish I could join…not in the cards. I work at GCU, and have been playing in our summer staff 9 hole league out there the past few weeks. Course is in pretty good shape for the most part. My only recommendation: don’t hit driver on #5. The entire landing zone is burned out, or didn’t grow in, or something…it’s all dirt. It’s marked ground under repair…but it will be frustrating when you hit a perfect tee shot, and find yourself hitting your approach from the dirt.

Thanks for the heads up. 5 isn’t really a driver hole anyway, IMO. No sense in bringing the water left into play.

What do you mean? That 330 yard controlled baby draw that you hit is perfect for this hole. Start it over the bunkers on the right…run it right up to the front of the green!!

Its very walkable. I will be walking.

It’s an entirely walkable course. On a day where the current forecast is 97? My old weary bones may not be walking.
