Gents we have a 4 ball booked at Armadale (The Springs Club) this Friday for an 8.30 am tee off. It’s myself, @MG82 and @TheFifth locked in at the moment. There are a number of tee times around that time incase others are wanting to schedule in some Friday morning meetings at a client’s office…

Hi all,
Over the last few years I’ve been an on and off Summer member at Nedlands. I just got the bill for this year. I basically use it to play (often on my own hitting a few balls) during the week before work. On weekends, the comps take an eternity.

Basically play as much as you want, have the course to yourself if you start at sunrise. I’m probably going to sign up again. THey waived my nomination fee when I joined. Not sure what the appetite for that is now given COVID as I hear that clubs are all packed. Just thought I’d share in case anyone else is keen.
It’s just a really easy place to rock up, park and walk 15m to the first tee. There are loops of 6, 9 12 etc holes and some have two tees to change things up (given it’s only a 9 holer).
View was pretty good this morning! Had the whole place to myself except for someone that started when I was on five.

No better way to start the day!
#6 at Nedlands might be the hardest short par 4 in the world. No matter how I’ve tried to play it, I always found myself way over the back of the green.

My favourite hole! I’ve settled on a 7i off the tee to leave a full pitch into the green. Or onto the road. Great fun watching people trying to drive it.
It’s the 5th that drives me nuts. Par four that I think i’ve hit the green only a couple of times by sheer fluke.
Par is especually irrelevant to me.

Not all of us will join the NEST, so i thought that if you all (@chairman, @mcoates17, @D.Crad, @bssharpie, @daveyc, @BD8, @ericrbens, @GMac DM’d me your numbers i can add you in the Perth NLU whatsapp group that @MG82, @TheFifth and myself are in and essentially be the new roll call in Perth. That way we can hopefully have a few more meet ups and play a few more different courses.

This is pretty much the only thread that I’ve read. But having listened to that podcast I’m now curious as to what goes on here. Definitely keen to stay in touch and get involved on a round.
