Any thoughts on TPC Sawgrass Dyes Valley?
I like it, its Florida golf buts its still very solid.
Outside of the Stadium course I think its the best layout/true test of golf at the beach in Jax. If I had a weekend I’d play Jax Beach then Dyes Valley the next day. DM me if you need food or lodging options.

Staying at Marriott Sawgrass. Playing Stadium and the Valley on consecutive days. Trying to fit in a third course nearby. And some good seafood.
Jax beach is a solid public option - I play 90% of my golf there.
If you have a private connection I’d play the ocean course at ponte vedra inn and club
Try dockside seafood restaurant in jax beach for a relaxed place and good food. Try Doro in atlantic beach if you want something fancier for dinner that’s still seafood.
V pizza is also right around the corner from you and its solid.

No issue that I saw. Rolled nicely. Literally, the Sawgrass greens two days ago were no better .

That’s good to hear cause conditions have been rough out there for a while.
Pine Barron’s greens were not hit as badly as Rolling Oaks from personal experience.
As I said, I thought they were fine. They werent Pinehurst 2, but what is.
Played Copperhead today. Good course. Not outstanding but good.
Playing in carts, with compulsory cart path only is not my cup of tea.
No frost delay but a little chilly to start. Got paired with two connecticut guys (with florida homes) who were normal. they shared a cart. guy in my cart was some Swiss guy (with a place in Naples). The guy didnt bathe. 4.5 hours of bad aroma. OMG.
