Update, my guy @andrewf added a little Chicago spice to the bell at Sleepy Hollow this past weekend

I don’t see it happening.

We’ve got a funeral this weekend, so I need to u/3 my parents sitter for that.

Father in Law is still in hospital in Pensacola, so I don’t think we’ll be able to use them for a sitter on 7/30.

I need to figure out if I can make it to Denison. I’ll try to talk to the Mrs. tonight and get it solved. The Cleveland trip the day before makes it tough. Love that course though

Hi all - what’s the best range in the area? Looks like the closest to me in Grove City is at Mentel. Is that decent enough? Doesn’t have to be perfect.

I haven’t swung in a few weeks so want to get out and take a few swings soon. Don’t really want to drive way north where it looks like most the stuff is. I can’t believe with all the other stuff in Grove City area there isn’t a stand alone range here.

Think Mentel might be irons only, it’s fairly small. Grove city area I would look at split rock (basically a field), or foxfire

Mentel allows drivers…or at least didn’t stop me from hitting them last time I was there. That’s probably your best bet.

Blacklick has great practice facilities for a public course (full range, shag range, 2 practice greens, 9 hole learning course, 3 hole practice loop) if you want to drive a smidge farther.

Would love to tee it up at Denison but i will be on my way back from the Sandhills

For those in NEO, I was just checking out the KFC Q School schedule and one of the sites for 1st Stage will be at Sandridge in late September. I am definitely going to add this to the calendar and try to attend a day or two.

As someone who has never gone to one of these events, whats the deal with admission? A quick jaunt through the site and it doesn’t look like there are tickets?

I’ve never attended a KFC qualifying stage before, but my hope is that it’s free and similar to attending a USGA qualifier, where you are free to walk about but just stay out of the way.

Sounds very cool to me, definitely putting it on the board to check it out. Sand Ridge is really cool and there are some interesting spots I’d love to watch from.

I don’t know about qualifying but the KFT event at Scarlet is free every year.

Newbie here in the Toledo area. Looks like I missed a nearby Findlay event a few months back, but I’d love to get together with some of the other NWOH folks for a round some time.
