LaRosa’s is a tough scene… but a slice and a bourbon on the Goodfellas 2nd floor balcony in Pleasant Ridge is going to be my jam allllllll spring/summer after rounds at the LCC.
Is there really such thing as a good BW3?
DUEL
Is this a controversial position?!?
Denison is great. One of my favorites in the Columbus area.
There are certainly better locations but good is just over the top.
I no doubt have eaten at BW3 more than any other restaurant on the planet. Mostly to watch the bengals on Sunday’s (since they show the browns on local cbs in Columbus). And I just now learned they have ribs.
Forgot to answer my own questions
- Taft’s Ale House Nellie’s Winter Ale (canned it this year so it counts)
- Fuck Mike Brown.
- Dine In: 4 Way with onion, 2 coneys with everything Takeout: 2 coneys with everything, 2 extreme coneys with everything
3a. Pleasant Ridge Chili - Gliers
- Cookies n Cream or S’Mores
- Good food but not barbecue. Ted’s Red is a great beer.
There are a few that you can always count on if the snow melts. Pine Hill is a good option since it is built on a hill so it tends to drain very well. Cheap as hell too.
I saw that email! What a great course, especially for a Metro Park.
- Madtree outdoor bar, or my hyper local Narrow Path firepit, beer wise it’s Rhinegeist Knowledge
- Mike Brown sucks
- Small 3-way, 2 cheese coneys w/ everything. The Skyline in Blue Ash (not on Reed Hartman) is really good. Blue Ash Chili is also A-1
- Gliers Hot Goetta
- Mocha Chip in a waffle cone
- Monty Inn - BBQ : Papadeaux - Seafood
Every time I went to Blue Ash Chili I ended up getting one of those massive sandwiches.
Need to get a double decker at Blue Ash Chili. They are in my PRC rotation and I love it.
The GLT (goetta, lettuce, tomato) at Blue Ash Chili is the best.
I’m from Cincy since 7th grade and can only eat Cincinnati chili couple times a year and hard no for Montgomery Inn
- Rhinegeist Truth
- No comment on the Bengals
- 3 coneys w/ onion & mustard. Small 3-way. Kenwood has the best Skyline location
- I’m team Aglamesis. Chocolate Chip
Ludlow Skyline by UC would like a word with you.
Actually I have not been to the Kenwood Skyline. I drove past it last week and my initial thought was “Damn, I bet that’s a really good Skyline.” based solely on the awnings.
Is this still a safe space? Truth is not good. I make sure to drink one every few months but am continually disappointed.
Have to agree with Truth - the first can of Truth was good years back but the recipe has not been consistent and it has lost something, everything.
I’ll get them at courses sometimes if I’m looking for a higher-test option (ex. bad front 9 and time to get loose) but not really otherwise.
If you let one get the very slightest bit warm on the course, it’s going to be a bad time
I will have to try one on the course soon, could be a game changer.
I’ve noticed it’s much better for me off a tap then a can, but I’m probably just making stuff up in my head.
Also…Kenwood skyline is the one I’m referencing as my favorite, owner has golf channel on all day too
Ask me a few years ago and I would have said Truth. Now the answer is definitely psychopathy.
