Is registration open?

My first NIT qualifier. Oh how the hands will be shaking!

I’m already qualified for 2025 so you can eliminate me from competition. However, the best golfer working for NLU might be in attendance.

He won his flight last year which is how he kept his spot.

Maybe he’s talking about the NLU player with the lowest handicap…

Just moved from the west side to the east side of Cincinnati (Anderson) thanks to my wonderful wife. So my east siders, where’s some good places to practice? Indoor or outdoor, doesn’t matter.

Reeves is pretty good. They have plenty of spots and you can hit off grass in the summer, although its mats only a lot of the time. They put in covered toptracer bays (not sure if theyre heated?) but theyre a bit pricy to rent maybe like $50 an hour. Right across the road is Four Seasons where you can hit into water. They have grass but its pretty beat up usually.

If youre further east, Legendary has a pretty good range. They also offer some sort of membership deal where you get discounted rounds and free range balls, they might have info in their website.

Miles of golf is fantastic with heated bays and free top tracer, but might be a trek depending where you live.

I’m pretty centralized I feel, can move about the east side easily without highways (anything east of 71) plus nky is only about 20 minutes.

Hey @methridge and @ChasingScratch any advice here?

Welcome! Paul covered the options well.

Depending on where you are in Anderson, Little Miami might be closer than Reeves. Both are equally fine if you’re not paying up for TopTracer at Reeves.

If you want to do TopTracer, I prefer Southwest Golf Ranch (up near Kings Island) to Miles of Golf because their mats tend to be nicer, but both are solid. World of Golf in Florence is a bit of a hike, but also has TopTracer included and offers BOGO Medium and Large buckets on Tuesday, which feels worth it.

Indoor nearby you have Another 9 in Columbia Tusculum, which is ok. Only issue is they use the E9 system, which seems to be the least accurate of all simulator options. My preferred indoor practice is at SwingFit in Blue Ash, but that’s a bit of a hike from Anderson.

Yeah there’s 2 indoor spots by my house (All in Golf and Garage Golf) might check those out. I am pretty close to Little Miami and I’m familiar with it even though I’ve never been, I used to work at Meadow Links so we communicated with them a lot on things

T22Stans… now that is a name I have not heard in many years! And congratulations on crossing 75!

Little Miami used to be my winter practice spot. Covered range with heaters is all I need to get through the cold months. Also love that they have a dedicated chipping green to keep your hands fresh.

If you haven’t already, check out Wandering Monsters brewery. I would go way too often if it was closer to me. Beer and food are both top notch and they have duckpin bowling.

It’s been a minute old friend. Glad to be back. I have frequented Wandering Monsters a couple times already!
