I mean I’m not opposed to Coldstream (by sneaking in the dark of night)

If you’re just looking to bang balls, Tin Cup right off 275 in Fort Wright isn’t a bad spot. Depending on where you are in Anderson, should be 15 to 20 minutes. Balls aren’t great, but they have heated bays with top tracer and a dive bar attached.

I’m sure there are closer sims, but Off Par just opened up in Crestview Hills. Nice place. Not super pricy. They let me stack if there isn’t anyone using the bays.

Probably too much of a drive for you, but the Stephens Golf Center next to CVG has really cheap sim time and is the best practice spot in Cincy, IMO.

I’m always down to make the trip down there on a week day. My new company vehicle doesn’t have a ton of trunk space, but I could probably still drive 2 people down so they didn’t need to worry about gas.

Weather people might have actually undersold this storm.

Seriously. Nothing like getting half of the average winter’s total snowfall in 24 hours.

I measured 14” outside. Was shocked by how much more accumulated overnight.

I’m not a meteorologist, but it sure seems like the sleet and freezing rain “puffed” up the existing snow. My wife thinks her school will be closed all week. Just no where to put all the snow.

As a school teacher I have really appreciated the extra couple days of break

People just south of Columbus got like 7".

Snow? What’s that? Haven’t had it in like 2 years.

Ohio Against the World? Can’t even handle 14".

Moving from Northeast Ohio to Central Ohio was shocking for me in terms of how little cities have for snow removal capabilities down here.

I regularly went to school when we’d get 5-6" of snow overnight growing up, here in Central Ohio schools were cancelled and we were put under a Level 1 Snow emergency for like 2-3".

We probably had 6 inches in the ground when my wife’s district cancelled. She called me a grumpy old man when I told her about the days went went to school in Youngstown, Pittsburgh, etc.

This is a certifiable mess today.

Yeah we’re around 12" here. I’m completely snowed in, and assume I will be through tomorrow. We’ll see how it is by Wednesday, but I’ll likely be WFH almost all week.

Also not a meteorologist, but it seems like the band of sleet/freezing rain moved south, so we never got it, which prevented the snow getting packed down.

Glad I don’t have to go anywhere.

4 rounds of shoveling for me but I can get out here in Dayton. There is a fair amount out there. It was light and powdery yesterday. It compacted and got heavy as heck overnight.

I think I can count on one hand the amount of times weve had this much snow in Cincy. Good news is its warm enough that the roads are seemingly clearing up quickly.

I used to think the snow and cold weather helped me appreciate warm weather once it came back. But having played golf less than a week ago, I think id forego the perspective to just have warmer weather year round.

Can’t let a little weather stop you from finding a reason to keep the habit of going out to the course.

We probably got around 4 inches but the wind made the drifts real bad. Patches of exposed grass with drifts a couple feet deep. Definitely a lot less than those south of 70.

Awwww everyone south of route 30 got some snow. How cute. JK stay safe everyone. It will melt for you guys shortly. Meanwhile, we’re still getting snow this week/weekend in NEO.
