That’s probably true. I had a buddy get in on a junior membership (younger than 35) deal they were running at Musgrove Mill that was only like $3000 initiation and something like $217 a month. It has since passed, so not sure what it would be to get in there now.
As the refugee coming up from Greenville for Irish Creek, I certainly hope we get the much needed rain, but that it clears up Saturday afternoon.

I’ll be visiting family in south Charlotte (Marvin/Waxhaw) 6/29-7/6. If anyone wants to meet up for some morning rounds or has course recs, let me know. Quail Hollow to Pebble Creek, I’m showing up haha.
I’ll probably play Carolina Lakes and Fort Mill since they’re close.
Living in Winston-Salem, play mostly at Tanglewood & Oak Valley. Getting back into golf after a couple of years away with young kids. Despite a rare flirtation with old man par I’m generally hanging out in low 80s / high 70s. Hit me up if you need a game, always down as long as work/family schedule permit.
Any one with any info on hidden gems in the Raleigh area? Playing the same rotation of River Ridge, Neuse, Eagle Ridge gets a little old. Looking to add some new courses to the palate
Played Lonnie quite a bit while I was a student thanks to the discount, haven’t been out there since. Don’t travel to CH or Durham much but have been wanting to check out the school courses, guess I’ll have to get out there
some of those can be misleading…the ones that say ONLINE BOOKING are basically a link to golfnow…they do have some actual groupons you can buy though for actual vouchers
