I’ve played both, both a great tracks, I prefer Cramer mountain, simply because it’s something different. Can’t go wrong either way.

FWIW, during my fitting at CC in Charlotte the fitter said he had a guy come in recently to do a driver fitting. The guy couldn’t find the face during the first 15 minutes so they had to postpone it two weeks. Guy then says he hasn’t hit a driver in years and only plays hybrids off the tee bc his course has so many doglegs. Fitter asked him where he plays.

If you’re playing the correct tees there are 3, maybe 4 holes where you can’t hit driver. I hit the ball plenty far and have played out there 5ish times and “I can’t hit driver very much here” never crossed my mind.

Haha makes sense. I live a few miles away and the club/neighborhood is on a tiny “mountain” seems like they may have some interesting routing to get it fit.

Ya’ll, I have a meeting in Elon ending around 1-1:30 Wednesday. I would love to squeeze in 9/18 before I head back to Richmond. High in the mid sixties, rain is supposed to hold off until late.

Anyone in the area (or on the way back up along 58) want to get out in the afternoon?

In case anybody is interested, I just loaded up some inventory on GN for Legacy in Aberdeen. Packages were a little light the first part of next week, so they are running a $35 special Monday-Tuesday. Weather looks solid. Tee sheet is open 8-10 and after 11 Monday and pretty much all day Tuesday, so plenty of options

Hi All,

First time, long time. Live in Wilmington and last night’s episode motivated me to join and post. I live 5 minutes from the muni and belong to Cape Fear National over in Leland. Just picked up the game about 6 months ago, so I’m pretty bad (20 hcp) but absolutely love the game and NLU has helped me appreciate the game that much more. Cheers
