Roll Call: North Carolina

March 28th is a little too far out to plan a local round for me, but yes if I’m playing that weekend I’m definitely in for SP.

Danville is a test to put it mildly. Very tight but not as tight as it used to be. The switch to bermuda greens has made it much more difficult as that get fast on those slopping greens. It can get claustrophobic and I constantly argue for the removal of the crepe myrtles. A fantastic membership and they run two fine tourneys a year. One is an individual in July and the other a best ball in August. You need to control you ball at DGC

Hey Matt! You will enjoy this group. Join the NC sub group and maybe we should hold a meet up at the Chase? TF

I’ll be out there March 28th! But with a group of buddies already playing in the morning. Heading over to Mid South for an afternoon round.

Let’s do it whenever that knee gets back to 100!

I imagine golf jigsaw puzzles could be very hard.

We’ve actually done a few custom puzzles for Pinehurst Resorts…I’ve got one of the pics attached. Hoping to do more for clubs across the country…and yes…they’re hard haha

I’d be happy to drive down from VA to check out Cross Creek with you guise. Also have heard Olde Mill is decent, just over the line in VA.

Hi, I’m a traveling physical therapist staying in the East Tennessee area for the next couple months. Was curious if there’s any way of playing Country Club of Asheville? Or any other recommended courses in the Western part of North Carolina?

Grove Park Inn. Quirky, fun Ross course. Waynesville Inn has 9 Ross holes and the rest of the holes on the side of the hill are pretty good as well.

The cliffs courses are supposed to be good too.
