I’d play RR again vs going to HC. HC went way down hill over the last 10 years. I hear the new management is making strides. I haven’t gone back out to check the progress. It definitely runs through a housing development. Across the street from HC is Skybrook. Also through a housing development but I like it better than HC. New greens and other renovations in the fall has Skybrook playing well. Also close to you and not through houses is Tradition Golf Club. Conditions can be spotty in the summer with their bent grass greens. They could be good this time of year. We’ve had a lot of rain so they’ll all be a little sloppy.

Appreciate that info very much guys.

I have one of those CGA replay vouchers for Mid Pines/Pine Needles I need to use before 2/20. Next Monday the forecast is looking good - for what a forecast is worth a week out. Anybody interested in Playing Mid Pines Monday 2/20 in morning (so I might be able to make use of the replay)?

Sorry - I meant Monday 2/3

damn my wife would be sooooo pissed if I ditched her with 2 kids at great wolf and did this…

Aiight. Not trying to break up marriages. Ride the Tornado once for me…

We play it for a work league. Its not great. Rocky River is better.

I wish I could, just checked my schedule and I have a meeting I can’t get out of.

Shoot for $29 you could probably twist my arm to going back there to play, but I did not like that course.

I haven’t been up to play Tot Hill yet. How is it compared to Tobacco Road?

Conditioning is not as good but I think the holes are amazing. They have gone through some tough times but they are coming around now. I will sing Tot Hill’s praises on here all day. I think it is incredible.

It’s a mountain course so that layout is different. It’s also not in as good shape as TR. However it is a lot of fun.

Anyone ever booked a tee time at Lonnie Poole without paying the fee to book it online? I have a tee time voucher and dont want to pay a fee to make a tee time.

Tried calling the number Google provides, but I got a disconnected message.

this number isnt disconnected

I’m in Aberdeen too. Have you checked out Southern Pines GC yet? $20 to walk.

They’re running a deal? SPGC is one of my favorite places to play; I have a bud who works for Legacy so I play it cheap with him sometimes–but I was under the impression that it was usually a $45 round. I’m a walker and would get out there more often at $20 (sidenote: you hear any scuttlebutt about when renovations out there might start?).

I play a lot at Deercroft bc it is on my commute and I can walk it cheap. I’ll hit up Longleaf bc I have two juniors in the household, Foxfire and Whispering Pines get regular play from me bc of deals.
